Merry and Bright

As you all know we LOVE details, so we thought what better way to share one of our "favorite things" with you this holiday season than to decorate a tree with one of them?! Our goal at every event is to create the theme 'Expect the Unexpected.' We wanted to design our tree for the
TREES! exhibit with an unexpected element. Our tree is decorated entirely with ribbon, with so many options, the biggest challenge was what ribbon to use!
This exhibit, showcases Christmas trees decorated by community designers and retailers at the Center for History, downtown South Bend.

The exhibit is open from 10am-5pm Monday - Saturday and 12-5 Sunday, admission is $8 for an adult, $6.50 seniors, and $5 youth 96-17)

From our Merry Me! Family to yours we wish you all things Merry and Bright this holiday season!

Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center Celebrates their Plymouth Hospital's 100 years!

We had the privilege of partnering with SJRMC again for a beautiful cocktail party reception. Our venue was the newly remodeled Marshall County Museum in Plymouth, Indiana.

Swan Lake Resort catered the event with a delicious assortment of appetizers and sweets.

We enjoy the freedom to design when clients offer minimal restriction. Our decor was a harvest of fall hues. We chose aubergine, burnt orange and artichoke. Blending these tones with rich texture and unexpected elements were the perfect backdrop for the celebration.

Southern Wedding

10-10-10 was a popular date for couples everywhere and what a perfect day it was! The changing leaves served as a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and ballroom overlooking the golf course of Elcona County Club.

The rich fall tones filled the ballroom enhanced with amber uplighting throughout the room.

Congratulations to the Southern Newlyweds!

Recognition Societies Post- Game Party

Notre Dame asked us to create a festive environment for the Recognition Societies Post- Game  Celebration, our goal was to design a fun and energetic atmosphere that becomes the must see place on campus, post game.

Complete with a DJ, Pro Show, the "Endzone" Lounge was designed to resemble a bar right inside Mckenna Hall.

The Lobby of Mckenna hall was decorated in traditional and fun Notre Dame Flair .

With all bases covered inside, including the "Sidelines" kids area, filled with crafts, toys, movies, and games, we also designed a game day atmosphere outside.

Merry Me! enjoyed being apart of the game day spirit on campus and look forward to the last few home games, with an Irish Win!!

Inspiration Boards

Over the past year we have provided Brides with Inspiration Boards, we create these after meeting with the bride and understanding what the couple wants as the overall feel of their wedding.  Inspiration Boards, unite all of the components they have shared with us and our designs  creating one overall vision ( or atmosphere.) All while allowing the Bride to see their event in a unique way, seeing all of the elements come together before the actual event serves as a great reference to the bride and other vendors as they continue on with the planning process.

Here are a few Inspiration Boards from past events:

We enjoy searching and pulling photos for Inspiration Boards, as you can see each and every board is uniquely created for every bride. This is a great reference for us as well, as we continue on with the design process creating the wedding of the couples dreams!

South Bend Clinic New Physicians Summer Reception

Merry Me Events was thrilled to partner with Matterhorn Catering for this event.
The Tuscan Mediterranean Theme included fresh artichoke, grapes, eggplant and tomatoes paired with succulents, seeded eucalyptus, hydrangea, flowering kale and assorted fall mums.

The center tent pole was the main attraction using this statue and grapevine. ProShow provide specialty globe-lighting bringing this event to life

We chose to use linen in a classic damask design in celery with wineberry accents.

Forest River

Forest River's Dealer Show is taking place this week as they anticipate 3000+attendees. We are thrilled to be part of it!   Over 187 tables filled this 80' x 180' tent with overflow outside. Merry Me Events was responsible for all the flowers, the fabric draping, linens and specialty rentals including our 'Ashley Shades' to fill the vast open space.

Rich Fall tone flowers were highlighted in these new-to-our-inventory 'party pots'. Available in moss green, cherry red, vibrant orange, brushed gold and deep bronze.

Proshow did the lighting and between Aay's rental and Burns Rentals combined, we provided all the tables and chairs+ china and silverware+ staging+ heaters and Generators.

Chosen flowers were mokara orchids, cherry-love roses, mango mini-callas, pin-cushion protea and apricot cymbidium orchids. Deco wire, mandillo decorative sticks and reindeer moss were accents.

We had a wonderful time designing this huge event and look forward to working with Amanda and her team at Forest River again next year. Many thanks and good luck with your show!

The Whitcomb - St. Joe Michigan

Surrounded by family and friends,  Stacy and Randy said their I Do's on the the Beach in St. Joe Michigan. Love the way our canopy looks against the Lake Michigan backdrop! What a fun couple, we enjoyed working with Stacy so much! Looks like Lifetime Photography had as much fun shooting the newlyweds as we did planning and designing their special day!

Thanks to  everyone at The Veranda at the Whitcomb and for Ned at ProShow for keeping the dance floor packed!
