Wedding Wednesday: Norris, May 26, 2012

Sarah and Ken Norris wanted to celebrate their 10- year  marriage committment to one another by celebrating with a Vow Renewal.  This upscale and elegant garden party was held on the their private property. Fresh spring, lime greens, and Tiffany blue, painted with touches of pink and yellow filled the tent with bursts of color! 

 Colorful Flower Balls hung on the alter as the couple renewed their vows.

Merry Monday: Bachelorette Party Keepsake

Love this idea for a Bachelorette Party Keepsake, what a fun thing to hang on the wall after the big night is over!  Think outside the typical lip colors and think of the colors of the brides home (or future home) when planning this, would be great if it fit their home decor!

Maybe we should make one in orange and purple and hang it at the cottage?!? So fun!

Is there any better way to see family members off as they embark on a trip around the world than a Bon Voyage Party? Deep Blue, Canary Yellow and White were the perfect color palate for this festive event!

Merry Monday: What to do with the dress AFTER the wedding...

What to do with the dress you have waited your entire life to wear... for one day? I know they do "Trash the Dress" sessions, which may be perfect for the right bride. There are just some dresses that are just too pretty to ruin or put up in a box in your attic to never see again! So if you are looking for some use for you dress how about turning it into a piece of art and frame it! This is would a beautiful addition to a dressing room or your bedroom and what a great reminder!

Traditionally bridesmaids have all wore the same exact same dress, same color and same style. Regardless if all of her girls look great in it or not. Today we are seeing more bridal parties in the same color and fabric but different styles, more fit to the personality and body type, which we love! We saw this photo of bridesmaid dresses and loved this concept too, everyone gown is so different but there is something about them that they just look perfect together!

When Kelsey Walz and Tommy Buysse came to us with the idea of having their wedding at the 4-H fair grounds, we could not wait to dive in and get started! This vintage country chic wedding was held in the Esther Singer Building at the St. Joesph County Fairgrounds.

 Wildflowers in various tones and vases were the perfect fit for this vintage country chic wedding.
