we have a client we love to work with... she called just a couple weeks ago to see if we could plan a last minute engagement party for her cousin... of course we were thrilled for the opportunity. she trusts us to do a great job for her. we have in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

i love our team. we like to brainstorm together. we have fun when we're designing events. we work well together as a team.

Chanell is one of our lead designers. She posted this just a few days ago as we approached a very busy week together. I couldn't agree more...

















so here's what you get when you have great people, doing what they are uniquely gifted to do...we put our heads together and came up with one of my favorite parties ever.

Down on the Farm...

Guests knew they were in for a memorable evening when they were greeted with  spiked lemonade to enjoy during the ceremony. This  picturesque setting was located at the family farm in Bristol, IN.

   

                            

                          

Following the ceremony guests enjoyed the cocktail hour and dinner reception with unique menu items created by Events With Style Catering. Yummy Mini gourmet burgers, mini grilled cheese, and milk and cookies for a delicious finish!

                            

 

We had so much fun planning and designing this ceremony and reception and wish Dave and Andy a wonderful life together! Happy ever after!

Veils and Vows photo shoot

We had the pleasure of creating a beautiful 'Seaside Tablescape' for the Summer Issue of Veils and Vows magazine. The staff allowed us complete design creativity by only giving us the color palette for inspiration. We were pleased with the final look! Check it out for yourself by picking up your copy of Veils and Vows!

Aay's Rental helped us out by providing the chairs and place-settings; ProShow provided the lighting and Joya from Spark Fine Stationery provided unique papery designs for the finishing touches.

Kinney / Parisi Wedding 05.01.10

Couldn't wait to share some of the images we took of this beautiful wedding held May 1, 2010.

This couple shared their vows at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of Notre Dame then celebrated late into the night at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn Gillespie Conference Center.  Once again the staff there made it a pleasure to design this special celebration!

We used a saturation of deep blue and purple hues to create this passionate atmosphere. Hats off to ProShow, our lighting partner, for creating an environment the couple dreamed of.

Summer Wind photography did an excellent job capturing the day. We can't wait to get some detail photos from her. See her blog for more images.

The chosen band was "Special 20's" from Chicago. They frequently play at The House of Blues and do fabulous job entertaining.

Another highlight was hearing from a talented family friend Greg Rini. We hope to bring him on board for some future events... fantastic!

Of course, Alexis from CakeWalk created another delectable confection.

The Merry Me! Team enjoyed every minute transforming a beautiful home into a haunted house; from creepy crawlies to rhinestone-covered skulls this party was a ghoulish success! Merry Me! left no (grave)stone unturned when planning and designing this glam gala.

Setting the tone for this event, black boxes with fingers inside were sent to the invitees. Driving up to this haunted gala, guests were welcomed by vampire valets, followed by a candlelit walkway leading to the front door, where the vampire butler greeted guests. Inside the guests danced to Shawn DJ-ing and enjoyed the many tricks (special effects) by ProShow, which added to the new ghoulish décor that now adorns the home. Those who dared continued on to eat creative treats by Chic Eats and drank Vampire Kisses.

Forest River Inc. Appreciates their Clients

Merry Me! had the grand opportunity to be part of this annual corporate event. In this down economy, how refreshing it is to work with Forest River, Inc. As one of the leaders in the RV/ Manufactured Housing Industry in Elkhart County, they wanted to show appreciation to their clients and dealers for the successes of the past as they look forward to a great future.
This 1500 person event took place at their corporate offices where an 80' x 180' tent was staked. Together with Aay's Rental, McIntosh Greenhouses and ProShow we created an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for those who gathered. Their guests were entertained by two local bands who put on a fabulous show! Catering was provided by Elkhart's own 523 Tap and Grill for fabulous eats.
We look forward to partnering with them in the years to come! Thanks for the opportunity!
