Special Event comes to South Bend, Indiana…. Kinda
Back in January the Merry Me! Team, along with many other wedding professionals from all over the world, attended The Wedding Lunch at The Special Event 2010 New Orleans. The overall concept is inspiring; extreme tablescapes, dramatic lighting, and the immense attention to detail has sent our creative juices into overdrive and we love it!! So when Kathy Strukle, owner of Brides ala Mode, asked us to be apart of the VIB Event we more than excited! We loved the idea of bringing a little slice of The Wedding Lunch to South Bend, Indiana!
The Very Important Bride, or as we like to refer to you all as the VIB, Bridal Brunch was held at Trio’s on Sunday March 7, 2010. Brides and Grooms, Mothers and Fathers, Siblings and Friends enjoyed brunch, featured speakers, a design gallery, amazing swag bags and of course some bubbly!
While dining at Trio’s Guests got to meet and learn first hand all things wedding from featured speakers; Linnyette Hall, wedding planner featured on StyleChannel’s “Whose Wedding is it Anyways” and Michelle Rago, Author of “Signature Weddings.” VIB’s also got the chance to talk one on one with the speakers and ask questions, it’s great to be a VIB!
The Merry Me! Team had the opportunity to create and display the Design Gallery, letting our creative juices truly free! We came up with three very different and extremely lavish looks : Organic, Glamorous Affair, and Sizzle. Individual post’s about each look to follow, hope they inspire you!
